Today we're thrilled to announce a new partnership with our friends at 500 Startups.
500 Startups is a global venture capital firm and accelerator that incubates startups. They've invested in over 2,500 startups and supported 6,000+ founders. (Including companies like Udemy, Canva, CreditKarma, Mejuri, and more.)
Republic is proud to be an official partner of 500 Startups, supporting their alumni founders as they scale and providing them with new channels to raise capital.
Republic has already hosted the successful offerings of several 500 Startups alumni like:
- Nanno, the babysitter on-demand app that raised $1.07M last year
- Asaak, the end-to-end digital lending platform for loans in Africa that raised almost $900k earlier this year
- Juked, the esport fan platform that raised over $1M this year
What does this mean for investors?
Republic is always looking for ways to bring our investors (that’s you) compelling investment opportunities. This collaboration is another way we hope to do that.
The more mentorship, support, and connections a startup gets, the more prepared they are for their entrepreneurial journey. If you’re interested in following companies that come from 500 Startups, follow them here.
What does this mean for founders?
Founders in the 500 Startups ecosystem are eligible for fee reductions when they raise on Republic. If you are a founder and have a relationship with 500 Startups, let us know by applying here.
