Audios Update: Audios featured on Technori podcast
Audios CEO and founder Erik Young joins host Scott Kitun to talk about transforming live events. This 20 minute podcasts digs into the background about the birth of Audios and how Erik came to found Audios and build the first cableless DJ speaker.
Kitun begins, “I’m fascinated with your company and fascinated by your background. You are the kind of person I like to see in founders that are multidisciplinary and have a lot of different things they are into and understand the impact investing has on the world, beyond their own company.”
Kitun: How did you figure out how to do it? I wouldn’t even know where to start.
Young: I wouldn’t say that I wanted to be McGuiver exactly, but I wanted to learn how to file patents. After I graduated with a computer engineering degree, I was hired by HP. While I was there I was dedicated to learning as much as I could about engineering so I could start my own company. So I approached my work like an athlete. Master the fundamentals, hone your skills and dedicate 100% of yourself. I averaged one patent per year during my years at HP.
