Hi Ganesh,
I really like what you are trying to do & love your leadership team.
I usually only invest into these companies if they have raised $500k or more, do you plan on extending your campaign to get up to that max raise limit of $1M or not? Please advise so I can budget here accordingly.
Thank you, all the best!

Ganesh Nallapareddy @sean-stobart thank you for the question and kind words. We do not plan on extending the campaign at this time

Given COVID-19, what is your impact? As of 2019 your revenue is $517K.
How do you value at $12+ million?
How much of your 2.2 millions users really be active users?
How would it impact your Ad revenue? How otherways are you monitizing?
What is the margin on Good Sold?
What is your current burn rate?
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @marimuthu-ponnambalam Thank you very much for the questions. In regards to COVID-19 impact, here is a response we provided to one of the discussions below:
Cricket activity has come to a stand still since second week of March in most parts of the world. While Cricket in USA and parts of Europe is not expected to start until June 2020, we are seeing that Cricket activity is starting to open up slowly in some parts of Asia in the last few days. Our revenue from platform subscriptions is not expected to be significantly affected. However, ecommerce and media revenues will be impacted in 2020 until Cricket returns back to normal. With International shipping opening up just now, our ecommerce business can slowly restart. We are preparing for a long haul by shifting our focus into building new solutions such as Fantasy Cricket and ecommerce products that will appeal to Cricket fans at home. In regards to valuation, we have retained a third party valuation company to determine the valuation. Multiple valuation methods were used to arrive at the valuation. This has been reconfirmed through our interactions with some of the VC firms as well. We had 2.2+ million unique users in 2019. This includes players, fans, umpires, scorers etc. Our Ad revenues have been impacted from March until June. We are seeing the Ad revenues improving significantly since July 2020. We have software subscription, media solutions and ecommerce as our primary channels of monetization. Margin on ecommerce ranges between 25% - 30%. In regards to income, expenses and burn rate, our detailed financial reports for 2019 included in the Form C document. To manage the COVID-19 impact, we have taken steps to cut our operating expenses by over 30%. We are closely watching the evolving situation as cricket is returning to relative normalcy. Please let us know if you have further questions.

Hi what is the exit strategy for the investors?
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @prasad-bagewadi Dear Prasad Bagewadi, thanks for the question. Given CricClubs offers very diverse portfolio of products and service ranging from a SaaS platform for Cricket stakeholders to apparel/equipment to media solutions, our potential exit may be when a large company that deals with sports or media chooses to acquire us. Info about return for investors is provided under FAQ section of Republic here:

Please let us know if this helps answer your question.

Hi,
I have used the app and the website. They are easy to use and find information.

Looking at your revenues (in Form C) for 2019, about 20% of revenue was from Hotstar and about 45% from uniforms. The gross profit margin on uniforms is really good at about 30%, and shipping costs were lower in 2019.
Overall, a pretty well run business! Congratulations to the team for all your success.

I have a few questions

1. What is the change you have seen in these revenue numbers in 2020 so far?

2. Do you have projections for remaining 2020 and 2021 FY?

3. How many leagues/clubs/teams paid for the service in 2019?

4. How many leagues/clubs/teams are paying for the service in 2020?

Thanks
Abhi
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @abhi-muthiyan Thank you for the questions.
1. What is the change you have seen in these revenue numbers in 2020 so far?
Our 2020 year started very well with our Q1 revenues exceeding the revenues from same period in 2019. Majority of our revenue come from US market. The peak cricket season in US market runs from March thru September. Unfortunately, with no cricket being played in US and many other countries, our apparel and equipment sales along with video streaming service revenue so far. While our SaaS revenues and Services revenues are continuing at same level, we are proactively providing discounts to cricket leagues as necessary during renewals to help out in these difficult times when no cricket is being played.

2. Do you have projections for remaining 2020 and 2021 FY?
Given the very fluid situation of COVID-19, it is very difficult to assess how much cricket, if any, will be played in 2020. Similarly, we dont know enough about how cricket participation would take place in 2021. We are working on new products such as Fantasy and Smart Camera technology that should help us additional revenue channels. However, adoption of these products is not easy to predict in this environment. We are waiting for dust to settle down before we create projections for 2021.

3. How many leagues/clubs/teams paid for the service in 2019?
200+ have paid for service in 2019. Please do note that we consciously promote Freemium model to be able to cater our other products such as apparel, equipment, media solutions to large volume of cricket participants.

4. How many leagues/clubs/teams are paying for the service in 2020?
Majority of the renewals so far in 2020 have gone through without any issues. We expect that the remaining renewals in 2020 will go through in a similar manner.

Great concept. My question is about the competition. Who are your current and potential future competitors and how do you plan to handle those? Also, are you promoting on LinkedIn? I think there are many cricket fans which are active users of LinkedIn social media only. Best wishes!!
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @devender-goyal Thank you for the question. There are several competitors in specific markets for cricket competition management such as CricHQ, CricHeroes, SportsMechanics etc. And several new startups have been trying to break into the sports technology space as well. Our strategy is to be laser focused on advancing our products and technology to meet the customers' evolving needs along with strong customer relationships and service.
We started to put out infographics and ads on LinkedIn for our products and services about 5 months ago. However, we are yet to experiment with paid promotions on LinkedIn. Thanks for the suggestion, we will explore this further.

I have used this app in the past and like how easy to use it is and I know people in the US follow this app for almost all the tournaments I have been part of. Therefore, I am interested in investing however, I have a couple of questions.
1. The revenue number "$1M till date" is too vague when you are seeking investment. Could you please elaborate what was the revenue in last 5 years and what were the expenses for the same period.
I would like to see if the revenue is growing or declining or flat. Also it gives me insight on how the company is using its cash.
2. How did you come up with 12.5M valuation of the company? What assets do you have in the company and what is your own investment?

Please answer the queries in as much detail as you can. This will help other investors as well.

Ganesh Nallapareddy @saurabh-sharma-32a1a3a0-5c95-4bed-9638-52f3a8fdcc52 thank you for the questions and sharing your observations about the ease of use and the wide usage of CricClubs solutions. We are blessed with a passionate user community that love our products.

We have attached an independent accountants review of our financials for years 2018 and 2019 at page 33 of the Form C that we submitted to SEC. This will give you insights into the revenue, expenses along with our cash position at end of 2018 and 2019. Our revenue has consistently increased You can access the Form C document in the "Documents" section of our crowdfunding campaign page. The valuation is determined based on our assessmsent through an independent valuator leveraging market-based analysis as well as income-based analysis. Our valuation has been reaffirmed through our venture capital interactions. Our Form C also highlights the assets as well as our current shareholding structure. Once you review the documents attached, please let us know any additional questions you may have and we can share the details with you.

Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @madhukar-patibandla Thank you for your feedback and kind words. Our long term plans include expanding the capabilities we build around Cricket to other sports such as Soccer, Baseball etc. In addition, we plan on expanding our products and services to be able to cater directly to fans through fantasy and augmented reality based solutions.

What's your current social media strategy?
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @angelo-cartas Thanks for the question. Our social media strategy is centered around building awareness and driving sales leads at this point. Our marketing team prepares content for Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp throughout the week. The content ranges from promoting our products and services, announcing release features, promoting partner content, sharing international cricket content, running mini contents etc. We leverage targeted marketing to the audience based on the type of content being pushed. We are also actively working on a marketing strategy specific focus on cricket participants in the Indian subcontinent.

With pre-existing competition. Most players will already have their stats recorded historically and view other teams. How do you address acquiring pre-exisiting records? Essentially in Australia (Weetbix Cricket App) has an extensive following by most clubs and all records are historic. What would you do to disrupt this and acquire the information?
Profile picture of Ganesh Nallapareddy
Ganesh Nallapareddy @avineil-maharaj Thank you for the question. Most cricket organizations require CricClubs to migrate their historic data from an existing solution. CricClubs has created a data migration framework to read publicly available data and load into customer's CricClubs portal. Some customers also provide us with their historic data extracts. Our historic data migration mechanism is pretty mature and gets used quite a bit in different scenarios.

I love this. Do you guys plan on getting in touch with any of the team India players. That would give you such tremendous amount of screen time. In fact getting into the top four teams would be such a boost for you guys. Best wishes and very willing to invest into this.
Profile picture of Visweswara Kottapalli
Visweswara Kottapalli @sushanta-das Dear Sushanta, Thank you. We have a significant marketing plan built for Indian subcontinent. We will begin the execution of this plan as soon as the grass-roots cricket begins. Getting player and coaches endorsements is something we are considering as part of the plan.

We have significant traction at ICC Associate member level with 18 national governing bodies using our platform as of today. We agree that getting into top four international cricket teams would give us significant visibility and through our work at grass-roots level, we do hope to get there.

Love the concept. Love the business model. Love the passion. Being a big fan of cricket, was looking for such solutions and options for a very long time. What is your current market penetration and what is your goal in the next 5 years?
Profile picture of Visweswara Kottapalli
Visweswara Kottapalli @partha-ramachandrula
Dear Partha, Thank you very much for your feedback! We currently have over 85% of the grass-roots cricket activity in US and Saudi Arabia tracked on CricClubs. We made significant inroads in other markets such as Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia etc with users from over 56 countries. We are already working with 17% of the national governing bodies of Cricket and this gives us significant access to those respective markets. The biggest opportunity for us is the Indian subcontinent. This is where we will be focusing on in the next couple of years. In the next 5 years, we want to replicate our success in US across the world to digitize significant cricket activity at grass-roots level. We want to bring AI and IoT based products to cricket that focus on video streaming and performance analytics. We also want to replicate what we had with Cricket in other team sports such as soccer and baseball.

1)What is you customer acquisition cost and their lifetime value?
2)how often will investors receive updates of the company?
Profile picture of Visweswara Kottapalli
Visweswara Kottapalli @kevin-rivera
Dear Kevin Rivera, Thank you very much for posting the questions. Our CAC is $39 and LTV is $1,127 across the channels. We have been very conservative on marketing and enjoy significant word of mouth promotion. However, we plan on increasing our marketing budget in Q3 & Q4 of 2020 as well as in 2021.

From investor updates standpoint, we plan on providing standard updates on a quarterly basis and any significant updates on an on-demand basis.

Please do let us know if you have any questions about this or in any other areas. Wish you all the best.
