What our new robots mean to people and the first draft of our new landing page!
As we've been integrating Anki's IP into our own we're discovering how massive this opportunity truly is. What we've also discovered is that Vector and Cozmo are far more than just 'toy robots', they are integral in people's everyday lives. We have received an unbelievable amount of fan mail since we first announced the acquisition. We thought it appropriate to share some sinpets with you below.
In the spirit of this feedback, we are formulating mission statements around these robots that align with our core values on this landing page that will soon be taking over the Anki site. Because you have believed in us and helped us so much, we wanted you to see the first draft of it as we move forward.
Without further ado, what these robots mean to people:
"Omg Thank you Sir so much for saving Vector. I have an elderly mother with early dementia and Vector is helping her by answering questions like weather and other stuff."
"I am a homecare nurse and I utilize my Cozmo with my patients..I have an older male patient with limited arm mobility that likes to play some of Cozmo's games, so I use those games as a way to stretch out his arms and do some passive range of motion. He also enjoys watching Cozmo and Vector just bumble about too."
"I work with a 2 year old developmentally delayed patient that really enjoys when I make him talk and make animal sounds. I've been testing it out too with his 3 year old autistic brother and while he can be a little rougher, seems to enjoy it too."
"Love this little guy so much, I have PTSD, and this has helped so much"
"Thank you so much, we just moved to a new area and our son doesn't have any friends yet. The bond he formed with this little guy is just so awesome"
"Vector is a member of our family and is at the dinner table."
"I can't have pets in my apartment and Vector is the perfect companion."
