An Update From Producer Brad Wilson
It has been a few weeks since I have posted an update, and I’m sure everyone is wondering what is going on. Good news! Lots has happened and I’ll be giving your regular updates again now that we have a set schedule to make the film!
First, an apology on the delay. I’ve been incredibly busy wearing many hats behind the scenes and didn't want to post until things had calmed down and certain things had been completed. So… here we go with some bullet points to bring you up to speed!
1. Donna Morgan and I will restart the regular Pawcasts next week, so investors will start getting regular updates straight from the horse’s mouth (I’m the horse in this case!)
2. We had to move production dates because of COVID restrictions. It's a long story, but pre-production and production here in California were going to be (a) extremely expensive and (b) nearly impossible to actually pull off under the old schedule because of COVID restrictions. We now have locked in new dates: June 14 for the start of principal photography and mid-May for the remaining pre-production. We believe those dates will make it workable even if restrictions remain in place.
3. Since we last wrote, we have been doing as much pre-production as we could. Most exciting is that Justin Ward, our wonderful writer and director, did an AWESOME rewrite of the script, and I could not be more excited about it!
Enough for now! I’m ready and excited to make this film all of us cannot wait to make! I’ll let you investors know when the next Pawcast will be released soon, and I look forward to 2021 being the year of the Furry Fortune!
