The New York Times invites you to consider an investment in Geostellar from your IRA!
Dear Friends,
Many thanks for making our equity crowdfunding campaign so successful! We set the high score on the Republic machine with over $300,000 raised, and hope to finish strong with one day to go.
Last week, the New York Times featured Geostellar in a piece on self-directed IRAs, which allows investors to fund “alternative assets” while maintaining the tax advantages of a standard 401K or IRA. This is the method Mitt Romney used to generate so much wealth from his personal investments while he managed Bain Capital without paying taxes on realized gains.
Did you know Republic makes it easy to invest through your self-directed IRA? If you’ve kicked in a hundred bucks or so, you still have time to top off or max out your investment from your retirement account, without impacting your current cash-flow or lifestyle!
Here’s the New York Times:
Howard Teich, a psychologist in private practice in San Francisco, got the memo. Eighteen months ago, Dr. Teich, 76, invested his self-directed I.R.A. in Geostellar, which markets solar systems online. “It’s the future,” he said. “To be able to invest in something healthy that you’re passionate about, like alternative energies — it doesn’t get any better. I’m taking a risk like any entrepreneur, but this is one way to take some action.”
Dr. Teich is an accredited investor, so he was able to participate over a year ago. Today, with equity crowdfunding, everyone can build a bigger nest egg with a self-directed IRA!
In other news, we’re making rapid progress on our solar-powered cryptocurrency, Zydeco. We were accepted into an Initial Coin Offering (“ICO”) pitch competition in Santa Monica on November 10th. We’ll be sure to keep everyone updated!
We’ve added cryptocurrency perks to each investment level, and provided some more details on our deal page. Each zydecoin, or token, represents one watt of solar power. The token holder shares in the economic, energy and environmental benefits of that watt of solar capacity once it’s released into the wild.
We’re so excited about all the possibilities that our successful campaign on Republic has afforded us as a company, and we’re deeply grateful for your participation and support.
We truly hope you’ll consider sharing our deal page today, and encouraging friends, family, neighbors and associates to tap into the resources of a retirement account to fund a tax-advantaged investment in the Solar Age.
Shine on!
