Major milestone achieved!

Exciting News!!! If you were on the fence, now is the time to jump! Indemnis is one step closer to making flight over people possible with drones. One of the major milestones that we have been progressing toward the last two years has come to fruition: we now have a standard!
As described in our deal page, Indemnis was the technical lead on the ASTM testing standard specification WK59171 for Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) Parachutes. On September 1, 2018, the full body of the ASTM F38.01 Unmanned Aircraft Systems Airworthiness committee approved the standard specification with 100% pass of the vote. Many of the large parties active in drone aviation - such as Amazon, DJI, Intel, Google, Uber, BNSF Railways, PrecisionHawk, numerous members of academia, and most importantly the FAA - sit on the on ASTM F38.01 committee. The new standard has been published as ASTM F3322-18 Standard Specification for Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) Parachutes.
The standard provides the requirements for testing and validation documentation for a parachute recovery system (PRS) on a sUAS and is designed to help a drone operator seek approval from a civil aviation authority to fly small drones over people. Specifically, the standard defines the design, fabrication, and test requirements of installable, deployable PRS integrated into a drone to lessen the impact energy of the system should it fail to sustain normal, stable, safe flight. The standard applies to multi-rotor, single-rotor, hybrid, vertical takeoff/landing (VTOL), or fixed-wing drones.
The standard includes a rigorous design and testing matrix due to the simple fact that a PRS may be the only failsafe in a critical system failure and when applied correctly, a PRS will enable industry growth in a way that provides civil aviation authorities and civilian populations with a high level of confidence in sUAS.
The standard adds immense value to our investors by providing a mechanism for Indemnis to meet the requirements and obtain a flight over people waiver, helping the industry expand safely through regulation. For those that have already invested, thank you. If you are interested in increasing your investment, you only have 30 days left!!
