Huge Articles & Press and Forging Ahead the Old Fashioned Way!
As component sourcing, shipping and manufacturing delays continue to hit the electronics industry, at Intellivision we are always finding ways to continue forging ahead no matter what... because that's what WINNERS do! It was taking way too long to get our 3rd batch of Amico Development Kits from China (these are the kits that game developers need to finish working on our games). So we started sourcing very small numbers of components and parts and started hand assembling them ourselves in-house! Amico has over 700 parts and over 100 electronic components. We are doing whatever it takes to make Amico a success and refuse to stand by and wait. Here is a picture we took a few weeks ago of the final assembly process in our offices in southern California.
Here was a quick fun little video we put together showing the final stages of assembly in house in time lapse format.

Intellivision Amico continues to make big news around the world and around the internet!
Here is a recent (and very positive) article and interview from last week from one of the biggest comic book websites in the world with millions of followers, subscribers and tens of millions of readers! The headline reads:

Also, from last week we saw another huge in-depth interview and article come out on Video Games Chronicle (VGC) which is "one of the world's fastest-growing and most reputable gaming news sites". Lots of great and tough questions asked. Let me know below how you think I did!

Check out this great article with the headline:
The Intellivision Amico: The Ultimate Family Console
I also took part in a CEO panel during the India Gaming Conference talking about the involvement of Hollywood/Bollywood in gaming. Having worked on big movie licensed games and successful franchises such as Disney's Aladdin, Disney's Jungle Book, The Terminator, James Bond, Jaws, Spider-Man, X-Files & Evil Dead to name a few, it was a great panel and discussion that included some of the biggest entertainment CEO's in India!
We see India as a HUGE potential market and one that has been untapped by the regular home consoles. You can view the panel here:

I was featured in a 5 hour Nintendo documentary alongside former VP's & presidents of Nintendo, current president of Xbox, industry luminaries such as Nolan Bushnell (founder of Atari) and many others. The documentary is called Playing With Power - The Nintendo Story and is currently streaming for free on Crackle.com
Here is the official trailer which features a few of my lines:
I've had a 30 year friendship and relationship with the great and talented Shigeru Miyamoto from Nintendo. For those who may not be aware of the name, Miyamoto-san is the creator of Donkey Kong as well as Mario and Zelda. Some of the most well known and greatest franchises in video game history! I worked with Shigeru-san when he asked me to be a part of the massive Metroid franchise as a sound designer on the hugely popular Metroid Prime series. Here I am with the Zelda/Mario team. Miyamoto-san is the person looking away from the camera. And the white haired gentleman behind him is my good friend Charles Martinet who is the VOICE of Mario! "Woo-hoo!"
Here I am presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award to Koji Kondo... the composer of the world famous Mario theme (as well as Zelda)! Miyamoto-san was there as well to support his good friend Koji-san.
I was recently featured on The Success Network on the Success OS show with Abe Wagner. I'm a big believer in keeping a positive mental attitude, having gratitude, keeping a vision board with the next big goal and never giving up. You can listen to the episode here:

Lots of people have been sending up pictures of the big Intellivision Amico posters they are seeing all across the U.S.! So great to see! Lots of education and promotion to get out there still, but having big posters at retail in thousands of stores across the country is a great start! Especially 7 months from launch!
As always, thank you for your interest and support!
