Companies offering Title III crowdfunding investments to you on Republic can only accept your investment online through Republic's website. To invest, you must create an investor profile. You can obtain information about Republic and any company fundraising on republic.co by searching the SEC’s EDGAR database.
You may pay for your Republic investments by a credit or debit card (if the Issuer decides to accept cards) or via an ACH or Wire transfer to the Issuer’s escrow account. Do not send funds to Republic or directly to the Issuer.
All written communications relating to your crowdfunding investment must be electronic.
After an offering is closed and your investment has been finalized, you can expect an annual report from the company each year, to be made available on the company’s website. Company updates will not be posted on the Republic website.
You can cancel an investment up to 48 hours before the end of an offering deadline. Past that point, your investment will be final and you won't be able to cancel for any reason.
If a company makes a material change to the offering terms or other information disclosed to you, you will be given five business days to reconfirm your investment. If you do not reconfirm within five business days your investment will be cancelled.
