Lil Bucks featured in Forbes for Republic campaign; Webinar coming soon
Hello Lil Bucks supporters,
I come bearing great news - this morning we were featured in Forbes for our campaign, and how female food founders are more frequently turning to crowdfunding to raise money. It is beautifully written by Shayna Harris, Managing Partner of Supply Change Capital, a firm investing in the changing face of food. Only 2.3% of venture money went to women in 2020, so clearly Republic is an amazing opportunity for women entrepreneurs to push through the fundraising barriers, giving our businesses the opportunities they deserve.
With over $80k in purchase orders from distributors UNFI and KeHE in the past six weeks, we are off to the races. Once January numbers are reconciled I'd like to hold a Q&A Webinar for the week of February 15th. I'll share a more formal registration and place to submit your questions ahead of time, but also please use the discussion board below in the meantime!
Again, we are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of this exciting movement to democratize investing. 🙏📈
