MyndVR announces major research study with Stanford and AT&T
Pairing VR with 5G to power the future of healthcare
We're always looking for new ways to reach our senior audience and new technologies that can help serve them. 5G technology is a perfect fit with Virtual Reality, and we're looking forward to working with the teams at both Stanford and AT&T.
According to the CEO of AT&T Business, Anne Chow (one of Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business): "We're entering a new age of digital therapeutics that harnesses the power of 5G and virtual reality... We're proud to work with Stanford and MyndVR to contribute to the technology behind the future of healthcare."
The research study is being run by Jeremy Bailenson, the Founding Director of Stanford's Virtual Human Interaction Lab and a recognized world leader in VR. "Virtual Reality adoption has been growing significantly, and we're interested in both the immediate and lasting benefits it can provide," said Bailenson. "Working with MyndVR gives us access to a crucial population of older adults that were hit particularly hard by the isolation of the past year."
