We are pleased to announce that R3 Printing has partnered with Defense Innovation Lab, Inc. (DiLab) for a NY State-funded joint research and development initiative!
DiLab has been awarded a Manufacturing Technology Assistance Grant (MTAG) by New York’s Empire State Development Corporation Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) for the explicit purpose of assisting R3 Printing in developing our advanced 3D printing technology.
As part of this grant, DiLab and R3 Printing will be conducting research at the AMPrint Center for Additive Manufacturing and Multifunctional Printing at the Rochester Institute of Technology. We will be using AMPrint Center’s extensive equipment and leveraging their additive manufacturing expertise to iterate and test specific components of our upcoming product, R3 Printer.
The Defense Innovation Lab is a Hudson Valley-based 501(c) non-profit organization that supports early stage technology companies that are building products for defense and federal government use cases. In particular, DiLab provides resources related to additive manufacturing, commercial off-the-shelf productization, federal acquisition regulations, manufacturing readiness, and military standards compliance.
We look forward to working with both the AMPrint Center and DiLab in our development of the next generation of manufacturing technology. 🚀
