Referral Partnership with Opendoor
We're thrilled to announce that we've partnered with Opendoor, one of the world's most funded real estate startups, recently valued at over $3B. SimpleShowing leadership met with Opendoor last week at their East Coast hub in Atlanta and we even captured the visit with a shot below (view the post from Opendoor here). This is an informal partnership which involves SimpleShowing sourcing our homebuyer customers to Opendoor when they wish to sell their home immediately, rather than listing their home on the market.
The best part about this arrangement is that many of our homebuyer customers are unable to book showings and buy a new home through our platform until they first sell their own home. This relationship with Opendoor allows us to accelerate our customers through the homebuying journey faster. In addition, Opendoor will also compensate SimpleShowing with a referral fee upon the successful closing of the home - should the customer accept Opendoor's purchase price.
We will begin offering this service to our customers starting next month in the three markets that we operate: Tampa, Orlando and Atlanta - all of which overlap Opendoor's footprint.
