Soar Updates: Live on Radio and New Cloud Interface
Last week, Soar Robotics went live on Technori’s Startup Showcase on Chicago’s WGN Radio. Since 2010, Technori has grown into Chicago’s leading startup platform with hundreds of alumni companies that have raised more than a billion dollars in venture capital. We started with an elevator pitch followed by a discussion with host Scott Kitun on the business and why we started it. We were able to reach a group of startup-focused audience of more than 20,000 people.
We have been serving our clients through our cloud interface. The interface enables us to manage organizations, users, robots, and lets our clients monitor their job sites, visualize, and analyze the collected data. We are revising our cloud interface front-end design to better address our clients’ requests regarding usability and user experience. Also, we are adopting Google’s Material design guidelines for a better user experience and familiarizing our newest clients with our UI, faster and easier. In addition to all this, we are switching from the good old HTML/CSS/JS stack to Vue.js for scalability and quicker development for our future web development team members.
Above is our current cloud interface, which is being migrated for a better look and a much better performance.
Above is our current prototype for our future cloud interface. With dark mode option, of course. Please note that it is not yet complete and we're only experimenting with some cool features. We will start our alpha testing period in about a couple of weeks. Later on, we will begin accepting applications for beta testers to try our cloud user interface and even simulate their drone operations and fleets.
Stay tuned for more info on our development updates and to get a chance to become one of our beta testers!
