M4.5 quake last night & 30th anniversary of M6.9 quake
Team Jumpstart, are you shaking?
Most of you in the Bay Area probably felt the M4.5 earthquake last night centered in Pleasant Hill. It woke me up and gave our house a quick little jostle. Jumpstart won't be making any payouts because the maximum intensity from that quake was a velocity of 7.5 cm/sec. The triggering intensity for a Jumpstart payment is 30cm/sec. But it's a great wake-up call and we'll be sure to see a spike in customers! Did you feel it? Report it here:
Last night's earthquake was big enough to disburse free coffee coupons to our Jolt Club members! (Feel a jolt? Get a jolt!)
We'll keep shaking this Thursday on the 30th anniversary of the M6.9 "World Series" earthquake in 1989 - formally named the Loma Prieta earthquake. We are very excited to have the Jumpstart shaker that morning outside San Francisco City Hall, at a press conference organized by the City of SF. TV news reporters are expected so Jumpstart might get some great media coverage... Stay tuned!
It's thrilling to see how our community of investors has exploded in the past few weeks. We look forward to drawing upon the skills and network of all our investors as we grow.
Warmest Regards,
