Salsa God Travels to Chile & Peru for Focused Trade Missions
About the same time last year, I was on a 17 hour flight from LAX (Los Angeles) to MEL (Melbourne, Australia) with the hopes of selling Salsa God Salsa in a place I called home for nearly six months. And just last year, during that week spent in Australia and New Zealand, Salsa God secured a distributor to begin exporting our delicious products to Australia. Earlier this year, I spent a week in Toronto and Montreal hoping to land our 2nd export market. While I didn't get a "yes" during my trip to Canada, after requesting a follow up meeting with a buyer I met with in Toronto, Salsa God did get that yes. Preparations are now underway to make our launch go amazingly in our friendly neighbor to the north (Canada). In the meantime, an incredible opportunity has arisen to try and secure a 3rd and 4th export market, so I am currently in South America promoting Salsa God's amazing restaurant-style salsas. Throughout next week, I will be meeting with importers, distributors and large retailers in Santiago, Chile and Lima, Peru. This trip was made possible through the federally funded Market Access Program, which is a part of the Foreign Agricultural Services of the USDA. Wish me the best of luck, and please forgive my slow responses to your messages and discussion topics. I am overjoyed by the amount of support (and funding) that Salsa God has received this past week, and I promise to respond to everything in short order. In the meantime, please send me any suggestions for great restaurants/things to do/places to go in Santiago, Chile or Lima, Peru!
