Sentry AI starts pilot with a top-3 monitoring center having 2M+ accounts
Sentry AI has started a pilot with one of the largest monitoring centers in North America and is integrating the two platforms via APIs for a seamless and reliable connection. This wholesale monitoring center with more than 2 million accounts services a wide range of customers, including homes, businesses, and commercial enterprises.
Sentry's AI solution will help the center save costs, and increase revenues by offering new services to its customers, such as identifying staff vs. customers and loitering in restricted areas.
Whenever an alarm at a customer site is triggered for any reason, such as a break-in, a door opened and someone forgot to enter the passcode, malfunctioning sensor, the security system alerts the monitoring center and sends videos for review. As most of these turn out to be false alarms, having Sentry AI rapidly process the security videos to highlight where a person or vehicle is found in a suspicious manner and suppress those that do not have any human activity saves the operators a lot of time and focus their attention on true events by interacting with the customers and/or law enforcement.
