We’ve also made significant computer vision progress advancing us toward our ultimate platform vision. With over 10 million points of data across the ~4 million images we have amassed, we’re making great progress toward the rollout of our contextualized UX (i.e., the image-based search and shopping user experience). This is where we believe we can differentiate ourselves, not just from leading competing platforms such as Houzz and Pinterest, but from the norms in online search and shopping, in general. We believe we’re approximately two months away from its initial release.
To this end, we are close to finalizing the front-end and will share this with you in the near future. We’re also close to finalizing a marketplace expansion program, enabling us to maximize access to on-platform purchase of products being shown in the images we’re featuring, while also expected to have significant short term revenue impact.
Everything we’ve achieved throughout this journey was a building block to the functionality we’re preparing to release, and so we’re naturally very excited to be sharing this update with you. As always, thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to being able to share more exciting news with you as it unfolds.
