Asarasi’s Anheuser-Busch Collaboration Update!
Dear Asarasi Investors, Champions, & Fans!
I wanted to take a moment to share with you an incredibly exciting update. As you know from our company summary, Asarasi is in cooperation with Anhueser-Busch as a part of their 100+ Accelerator. To that end, we recently collaborated with Anheuser-Busch to brew a pilot production of beer using Asarasi as a source ingredient and innovation base for a uniquely new beer.
I am proud and excited to share with you that as of this week, we have successfully produced the world’s first ever 100% plant-sourced pilsner beer! This new beer will only be available on draft at an iconic brewery located in the United States with the specifics yet to be announced. I also thought I would be the first to share this with you and provide you with the brewmaster's comments and inspiration for the beer below.
”When we looked at the Asarasi water profile, it was very soft. I wanted to use the water in the most appropriate way, without altering it. The softest brewing water in the world is in Pilsen in Czech, so for the beer style, I chose Pilsner. Pilsner is being brewed and altered in many different countries, and I made a bit of a hybrid of Czech, German, and American Pilsners. Since the water came from a maple farm, my inspiration was farms and Midwestern grains and hops. We used malt and a little heirloom tri-color corn from Indiana, and hops from Michigan. The corn is a nod to traditional German-American adjunct lager brewing that goes back to the 19thCentury, but played a different way, with corn not as a commodity, but as a quality and native grain to the Americas. This particular corn was hybridized from heirloom seed by a distillery in Indiana for their bourbon.”
Given that we have ~100M gallons of Asarasi water contracted, I'm excited to continue to expand our product offering as both an ingredient supply company and as a branded products company and I hope you are too! I will share more when the beer is publicly released.
Onward and upward!
